We are happy to announce New Westminster’s
International Artist Day Festival
Anonymous Art Show at 100 Braid St Arts Studios & Gallery in New Westminster. 

International Artist Day, launched in 2004, is now celebrated all around the world throughout North America, Europe and parts of Asia. Now an IAD signature event and art show is coming to the city of New Westminster.

We don’t think Monet will make the deadline for our art call but if you’re a living artist you are invited to submit your interest in participating in the show by filling out the form below.

Once you have been accepted into the show you may submit up to three, 12”x12”x1 ½” gallery wrapped canvases; if you are a textile artist or mixed media artist we are happy to discuss other options but all art must be 12″ x 12″ and must pre-approved by organizers; subject matter is artists’ choice, ready to hang, and signed on the back only. The anonymous nature of the show ensures that all the art is treated equally, however the excitement of the unknown adds a special anticipation and excitement to the event.

Entry fee is $25.00 for up to 3 pieces.

All the art will be for sale and every piece will be priced at $150.00 regardless of the artist and $100.00 per painting will be paid back to the artist when sold. The rest of the monies will be going to Camp Kerry Society and to cover the basic costs of the show.

Once the final pieces are submitted the show will be gently juried by a committee of artists and art professionals with the goal of having at least 100 emerging and professional artists involved. The IAD selection committee at 100 Braid St reserves the right to refuse any work that we consider offensive to the public.

Instructions on art delivery, times and dates for drop off, hanging requirements, etc will be supplied once you have been accepted as a participant in the show. We will also provide guidelines for social media and instructions/postings for use on social media channels.

Please submit your interest by filling out the following form as we will preview your website and social media channels for examples of your work (you do not need to submit the final work or photos of your work). If you are accepted into the show you will receive an email along with an invoice for the $25 entrance fee. You may pay by credit card or e-transfer. You should receive confirmation of acceptance within 7-14 business days.
