** Egg tempera is a little known, ancient painting medium. It is inexpensive, eco-friendly and versatile and is made from pure powdered pigments, mixed in a raw egg emulsion. Egg tempera dries quickly and typically is applied in multiple thin layers, producing saturated vibrant colours.
