Braid St resident Omanie Elias works in a great ma Braid St resident Omanie Elias works in a great many artistic mediums. This is a stunningly beautiful portrait of Athena painted on rock. Omanie is truly one of the founders of the Braid St community; she has a beautiful heart and soul & shares encouragement with everyone. She was one of the very first artists who came to Braid St when we hadn't even finished renovations. She saw the vision through the dust, chose her studio and made it her own. Stunning #pittmeadows landscape by Michael King, a Stunning #pittmeadows landscape by Michael King, another very talented painter and founder within the Braid St Community. He came to the studio with the goal of pursuing his art full time and although it has been a circuitus route he is now doing that! He came to the attention of founder @susanlgreigart because of his well done Youtube videos. Michael is a rare combination of artist and businessman which has translated into his role as president for @pleinairbc and by recently launching @artfulminds_community Braid St is delighted to partner with Artful Minds because its goal is to provide encouragement and inspiration to painters to help improve their painting skills. Michael is an excellent teacher and is creating new workshops and lessons as we speak!
